On Monday, the 23rd of October 2017, 20 bachelor students of Business Informatics at the Technical University of Braunschweig had the opportunity to get to know fme AG during an excursion day.
Our CEO Dirk Bode opened the event with some information about fme’s history and explained the importance of digital transformation. In addition, we were able to show the students the career opportunities and give them an insight into some of the projects and topics of our business units.

The students were especially fascinated by the Virtual Reality glasses, which allowed them to marvel at the configured VW Up in “reality”. Topics such as business intelligence and life sciences were also very well received. One of our employees outlined his own entry as a working student and the subsequent employment at fme in order to show the graduates what career opportunities the fme offers.

The students themselves had also brought along some information about their previous practical projects, reported on them and gave us valuable suggestions for a next excursion day. We had a successful afternoon and are looking forward to further events of this kind.
