Frank D’Entrone | President
After graduating from SUNY at Delhi in 1989 with an Associate’s Degree in Electrical Technologies, working for GEC Alstom servicing clients in Power Generation, Mr. D’Entrone then graduated from Northeastern University in Boston Massachusetts in 1999 and accepted a position for a Biotech company in Boston entering into the Enterprise Content Management (ECM) space. Mr. D’Entrone then went on to work for IT services organizations providing ECM consulting services to clients in industries such as Life Sciences, Manufacturing, and Finance. In 2007 Mr. D’Entrone founded DT Technologies Inc. continuing to provide ECM consulting services till entering into a joint venture with fme AG in March of 2010.

Graduating in 2003 from Braunschweig, Germany with a Master’s Degree in „Computer Science in Economics“, Manuela directly joined fme AG as an Associate Consultant. She primarily worked with Java and Documentum development projects. Over the years she developed to the role of a Senior Consultant for Documentum and Deputy Business Manager for the Munich department. In 2010 Manuela moved to Connecticut USA to join the newly formed fme US as Senior Consultant providing Documentum and migration services primarily for the Life Sciences industry. Currently she is the Business Unit Director Technical Services and Deputy of Operations overlooking the Delivery team servicing the customer projects.

Ian Crone became the Business Unit Director for the fme Life Sciences Team in Europe in October 2021. Over the two decades since, prior to joining fme, Ian has been involved in the Chemical and Pharmaceutical industry, from every angle of drug development, specialising in NMR, IDMP, RIM, medical devices and regulatory solutions for some of the largest Life Sciences and Pharmaceutical companies around the globe. He has been involved both from an industry and technology supply side, in roles held at Oxford Instruments, BioStorage Technologies, Samarind and Amplexor. Ian enjoyed living and working internationally during his consulting career and brings more than 20 years of experience in the Life Sciences industry to his new role at fme.

Mr. Gwyn is a strategic, creative, and data-driven Business Development and Technology Specialist with extensive expertise in building key partnerships, implementing business strategies, and deploying solutions across the life science and emerging technology industries. In October 2021 he joined fme US as the Business Unit Director for Business Consulting. For the past 30 years, he has led teams in the delivery of content management, clinical, and quality solutions with a recent focus on end-to-end Regulatory Information Management (RIM). His practice has evolved in parallel to the Life Sciences industry, moving from custom-developed software solutions to packaged-based implementations, and the development of methodologies and best practices to guide practitioners in realizing the greatest return on investment. Mr. Gwyn is passionate about helping organizations evolve from traditional to digital businesses and increase their ability to act with speed and agility.

Mr. Overton graduated from NC State University in 1989 with a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science. During his time at NC State, Mr. Overton also was a co-operative education student at IBM, and he was hired upon graduation. A few years later in 1993, Mr. Overton began his career in Enterprise Content Management when he joined pharmaceutical company Burroughs Wellcome Inc. where he worked on the team that first implemented Documentum at the company. Mr. Overton continued supporting and architecting Enterprise Content Management solutions while the company went through several mergers and eventually became GlaxoSmithKline. Mr. Overton progressed to become the ECM Competency Center Head at GlaxoSmithKline and managed a diverse worldwide team of individuals supporting ECM systems across the company. After 26 years at GSK, Mr. Overton joined fme US in 2020 as a Managing Consultant and manages the Technology Practice team within the Global Life Sciences Unit.
